BEFORE YOU START
Welcome to "How to Draw Cartoons in Flash". Before we start you may want to go out and buy a book on how to draw cartoon characters. This should give you the basics of using shapes and lines to draw your characters. There are also many online resources you can find by surfing the net. Once you've done this and you feel confident that you want to learn to use flash, not only as an animation program but also as a drawing program, download a trial version of the product at Adobe's website. www.adobe.com/downloads/ If you're only interested in animation there is a fine program at this link goanimate.com/ with characters already created you just animate and its that simple. However, if you are serious about showing your unique creative style to the public pay attention to this blog. I have made several mistakes and learned a few shortcuts while I learned to use flash as a graphic artist and animator.
